WHERE IS THE
MAILROOM LOCATED?
We are located on the west side of campus, east of the Hurricane
Center, in the Campus Support Complex (CSC 1133). Our hours of
operations are from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, Mon-Fri.
WHAT TIME DOES
THE MAIL LEAVE CAMPUS?
The U.S. Postal service picks up mail in the Campus Mailroom at
3:30p.m., Monday through Friday.
WILL MY MAIL GO
OUT TODAY?
Generally, all mail goes out the same day it's picked up by our mail
carriers, or mail brought to the mailroom by 3:00 p.m. Mail that is
not properly prepared may be delayed. Bulk Mailings that go on our
permit requires more preparation time, and may go the next day.
DO YOU SELL
STAMPS?
Yes. We sell books of stamps for your personal use. Cash only. No
checks accepted. For security reasons, we can not ship personal
packages from the University weighing more than one pound.
WHERE IS THE
NEAREST U.S. POST OFFICE LOCATED?
The Olympia Heights Post Office is located at SW 117 Avenue and Bird
Road (SW 40th ST.) Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Phone number is
226-7525.

BULK MAILING?

CAN I SEND
FEDEX/UPS/PRIVATE COURIER MAIL ON A MAIL VOUCHER?
Sorry, but NO. The Campus Mailroom handles only U.S. Mail.
If you wish to use UPS, contact Purchasing (348-2161) for opening a
UPS account.
CAN YOU TRACE
WHEN A SPECIFIC PIECE OF MAIL WAS DELIVERED?
First class mail can not be traced. If you send Express mail or
Certified mail, and have the mailing piece number, you may call the
Post Office at 1-800-222-1811, for tracking, or www.USPS.com
