Preventive Maintenance

The responsibilities of the Preventive Maintenance Unit include the daily maintenance and operations of all elevators, escalators and vertical transportation equipment of the University. The unit also schedules periodic maintenance tasks of the Center's mechanical systems. In addition, it is the duty of the department to systematically inspect, examine and maintain all fire alarms and sprinkler systems as to ensure that they operate to full compliance with industry standards and codes.
