- The ViMonitor Client Application has been upgraded to version 7.9.2.216. If you are running an older version, it is strongly recommended that you have your Dept. IT upgrade to the latest version. Otherwise, if you don’t have that support, please send email to William Power and Brian Perez and we will have someone schedule the upgrade.
- The application needs to be reconfigured to connect to the new servers. Please send email to William Power and Brian Perez and we will have someone schedule the upgrade.
- To access the new Surveillance system, you need to head over to myfacilities.fiu.edu and login with your FIU credentials. Once you sign in, click on the menu icon on the top right corner and click on Surveillance. A sub-menu item should appear called Surveillance. You will then be redirected to the Surveillance WebClient and automatically sign you in with your FIU profile. You no longer need a separate password for our surveillance system.
- Once you’re signed into the surveillance application, you can view all the cameras you currently have access to in your profile. It will be on the left-hand side under the Servers menu.
- If you feel you are missing cameras, please send email to William Power and Brian Perez and we will have someone schedule the upgrade.
- If you come across this message when trying to view a camera, it is because some of the older models do not support this format. By default, cameras are formatted into MP4. You can fix this problem by switching the format on the bottom right corner to MJPG.
- Download permissions are limited to certain users who have been authorized. A blank pop-up window will appear indicating you do not have permissions to do so.
- With FIU’s Single Sign-On, it signs you in to your surveillance profile automatically for you using your FIU credentials.
